This compact skinner was built to be a dependable, go-to tool in the field while still carrying the clean lines and balance that define Dave’s work. The shorter, wider blade profile gives it a confident, controlled feel in hand, making it especially well suited for skinning tasks while still being versatile enough for general outdoor use. Thoughtfully placed jimping along the spine provides added grip and control when you choke up on the blade, giving you a more secure, precise feel during detailed work.

The blade is crafted from premium CPM-154 stainless steel and heat treated to 61 HRC, including a cryogenic treatment to increase durability and edge retention. The satin finish highlights the grind while offering the corrosion resistance you expect from a high performance stainless steel.

The handle is made from extremely hard Bolivian coffeewood, paired with red G10 spacers and liners. Oversized mosaic pins and a lanyard hole complete the build, while the natural grain of the wood ensures each knife has its own unique character.

This knife comes paired with a custom camo Kydex sheath. The sheath is set up with a versatile belt loop that can be worn right or left handed, and configured for horizontal or vertical carry, allowing you to carry it the way that works best for you.
